Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew visit to Blue Clay

(updated: Oct 22, 2009)

The International Mountain Bicycling Association is coming to North Carolina. Kelly and Collins Bishop of the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew will be in Wilmington for a Trailbuilding School. The Crews teach “sustainable” trail building, which means building trails that last a long time and require minimal maintenance. This helps reduce trail damage, protects the environment, and enhances visitor enjoyment.

It's not every day you get this kind of opportunity and is a really positive thing for our community. I've been on their waiting list for nearly two years. If you'd like to help plan any events or offerings, the CFC could use your help. These could include free swag, food, raffles, group rides, social events. This is the weekend of Halloween, so we'll get together downtown as well. Please contact me if interested.

Thanks,

SBA
